Conference Venue
NCBDS 38 will be hosted by the School of Design, Architecture and Art (SODAA) in Downtown Fargo. All conference sessions, meals, and will be held on the Downtown Campus of NDSU, such as Barry Hall, Klai Hall and Renaissance Hall. The keynote presentation will take place in Louise S. Barry Auditorium in Barry Hall and the registration and final reception will happen at the Plain Arts Museum Downtown Fargo.
Housing
The Fargo Downtown area has several established and new hotels. Room blocks have been reserved at both the Jasper Hotel (built in 2021 by SOM) and the Radisson Blu Fargo. Both hotels are within walkable distance from the School of Design, Architecture and Art and could provide affordable rooms for conference attendees. The Jasper Hotel has 125 rooms, and the Radisson Blu Fargo has 151 rooms.
Both hotels are also within a 10-minute walking distance from Renaissance Hall, Klai Hall and Barry Hall as well as the Plains Art Museum. In addition, a large variety of restaurants, pastry and coffee shops, bars are all located in a convenient and walkable distance to the conference venues and the hotels.

The Fargo airport (Hector International Airport) serves the following airlines: Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier and United. These airlines provide non-stop flights to the following major cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Orlando and Phoenix-Mesa. The location of Hector International Airport is approximately 8-minute drive by car to/from the downtown Fargo conference venue. Upon request a driver from Radisson Blu Fargo will pick you up from the airport.

There will be a guided tour of some historic and contemporary buildings in Fargo, including: the Jasper Hotel; Renaissance Hall; the Plains Arts Museum; and the Rourke Art Museum in Moorhead.
Downtown Fargo Historic District is a historic district in Fargo in North Dakota that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1983. This listing includes 88 contributing buildings in an area of 60 acres (24 hectares) as well as late nineteenth-century and twentieth-century Revivals architecture, Modern architecture, and late Victorian architecture.
